The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering solutions including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it really is alarmed with regard to the superior amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office committed to service the area every day. The assistance stage made for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, SRD which makes it tricky with the office to attend to all people who pay a visit here to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to allow the servicing of all consumers and raise use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
